A woman was hospitalized in a
mentally confused state Thursday after police found she had kept
her dead father's body at home for two weeks.
Police acted after neighbors reported a foul smell coming
from the flat where the woman, 59, lived with her father, 92.
He had died of natural causes and was in an advanced state
of decomposition, they said.
The incident took place in the northeastern city of
Trieste.
