Two armed robbers shot a
security guard in front of a shopping centre outside of Piacenza
on Friday, seriously injuring the guard who was taken to
hospital in Parma by air ambulance.
The suspects allegedly shot the guard in the back, then
stole his gun and escaped in his van.
Police blocked the van and took one of the suspects into
custody, but the other suspect escaped on foot.
