Four police were slightly hurt by
stones thrown by demonstrators protesting Wednesday's visit of
Premier Matteo Renzi to Naples, sources at the police HQ in the
southern Italian city said. The police used water cannon and
tear gas to disperse the protesters. Clashes with police blocked
Naples' seafront and some tourist buses were engulfed in fumes,
but no civilian is believed to have been hurt.
