Women do the housework in Italy in
56% of cases compared to a European average of 49%, according to
a study by Nielsen research institute published Tuesday.
The traditional broom is used in 74% of homes, and the mop
in 56%.
This compares respectively to 64% and 59% across Europe.
Just under one in three Italians also believe that laundry
detergent should contain a disinfectant, while 36% believe that
it should smell nice.
