Italian police on Tuesday
arrested 61 people after a probe established the existence of a
criminal organisation linked to the Neapolitan Camorra mafia
operating in the southeast of the capital.
Police seized 10 million euros in assets in the operation,
which they said had dismantled the organisation.
The Camorra has been active in Rome for years and recently
linked up with a Rome-based mafia-style organisation that
allegedly had its fingers in the political and business worlds.
