Police on Monday arrested two people after finding 400 portions of hashish weighing a total of 40 kg stored in the gas tank of a car.
Police arrested Ciro Del Vino and Yaroslava Pankiv, both residents of Giugliano (a town about 30 minutes north of Naples), following a routine traffic stop on Naples's ring road.
Fire fighters called in to investigate discovered the hashish stored in a modified GPL gas tank that hadn't been connected to fuel the vehicle but rather was being used to store the drugs.
