(ANSA) - Milan, September 28 - Six players from ACF
Fiorentina visited the Save the Children pavilion at the Expo
world's fair on Monday.
The team has championed the non-profit since 2010, and its
logo is printed on their jerseys.
Fiorentina currently holds the number one spot in Serie A
after steamrolling second-place Inter in a 4-1 victory on
Sunday.
Daniele Astori, Khouma Babacar, Jaime Baez, Federico
Bernardeschi, Ciprian Tatarusanu, and Abdou Lahat Diakhate posed
with Expo CEO Giuseppe Sala - an Inter fan.
The players also met with a group of middle school students
from Origgio.
Fiorentina will sponsor the Save the Children fundraising
campaign "Everyone" from October 12-November 1, to raise money
for the fight against infant mortality.
"The great issues of humanity affect us all," said
Bernardeschi. "We can each do our part".
