(ANSA) - Bologna, September 28 - Biodiversity Park Week
kicked off Monday at the Expo world's fair and will climax with
a Bio Party on Tuesday.
The so-called Bio Party is a day dedicated to innovative
and sustainable organic agriculture capable of responding to the
challenge of Expo and its theme, which is Nourish the Planet,
Energy for Life.
During the Bio Party the Expo Bio Charter will be handed to
Italian Deputy Farm Minister Andrea Olivero.
The charter underlines how organic agriculture is capable
of feeding the planet and future mankind by supporting family
agriculture and employment and protecting biodiversity.
The document also stresses the need for government
institutions to make organic agriculture the reference model for
innovation and sustainability in Italian farming.
