(ANSA) - Rome, April 30 - Nine million Italians have already decided to visit Milan Expo 2015, Italian hoteliers federation Federalberghi announced Thursday on the eve of the opening of the six-month World Fair. The event, which focuses on food, nutrition and fighting hunger with the theme Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life, is expected to draw over 20 million visitors overall, when foreigners are counted. "These figures highlight the importance of events of this scale for our country," said Federalberghi President Bernabò Bocca as he presented the results of a study by the federation.
