(ANSA) - Milan, January 13 - Milan Expo 2015 could be the "ideal target for terrorism", Expo Commissioner Giuseppe Sala said on Tuesday in the wake of last week's attacks in France.
The head of the World Fair stressed, however, that event organizers were aware of the threat and preparing to avert it. "It's an issue that we've been thinking about for a year and a half," Sala said. "So we are preparing, organising protection". Expo 2015, which runs for six months from May, is expected to attract over 20 million visitors to Milan.
