(ANSA) - Rome, November 11 - The Interministerial Committee for Economic Planning (CIPE) on Monday approved funding worth 130 million euros to promote companies working in the agricultural sector in view of next year's Milan Expo. Some 2,000 producers are set to benefit from the funding including producers of organic foods, wine makers, milk, apple and kiwi producers and dairy farmers across the country. CIPE also released 21 million euros for the creation of 25 regional cultural and gastronomic itineraries for the World Fair, which will take place in Milan from May to October 2015 on the theme 'Feeding the planet, energy for life'.
