The Italian economy is still capable
of surprising observers with growth rising above 1%, Economy
Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti said at a Bloomberg event Monday.
"We will maintain our capacity to surprise, indicated growth for
2023 is 0.9% but our goal is between 1.2% and 1.4%, while we
have put just 1% in our budget forecasts," he said.
"I'm confident we will be able to reach the results that we have
just alluded to".
