Countries with high public debt like
Italy should increase their efforts to cut it, European Central
Bank Governor Mario Draghi said Thursday.
Italy has the highest debt in the eurozone after Greece, at
over 130% of GDP.
Draghi also said there were signs of marked slowdown in
growth in the eurozone.
He aid the ECB would leave rates unchanged in 2019 and would
make new loans to banks.
