Italy's top administrative
court, the Council of State, on Thursday upheld a request from
telecommunications companies to suspend reimbursements for
28-day bills.
Telecom Italia, Vodafone, Wind and Fastweb were to have
reimbursed their clients by December 31.
The suspension will be until March 31, 2019, a period deemed
appropriate by the judges for the filing of motivations by the
regional administrative court that on November 2 had confirmed
the end of the year deadline for the paying back of days
mistakenly charged for after a switch to a 28-day billing
period.
