Italy's unemployment rate was
10.2% in the third quarter of 2018, down 0.5 of a point with
respect to the previous three months and by 1.2 points on the
same period last year, ISTAT said on Wednesday.
The national statistics agency said that the percentage of
people not active on the labour market was up 0.4 of a point to
34.5%, according to seasonally adjusted data.
It said 2.653 million people were unemployed in Italy in the
third quarter.
