The demand for Italy's
index-linked BTP Italia bonds, aimed at Italian savers, stayed
weak Wednesday with retail demand at 863 million euros after the
third and last day of the retail auction.
On Thursday the day will be devoted to institutional
investors.
On the first day, Monday, the bonds, now in their 14th
edition, got 481 million euros and on the second day, Tuesday,
they got 241.3 million.
The last day mustered only 140.6 million for a grand total of
862.9 million.
