The next G7 summit of
financial leaders will take place in the southern Italian city
of Bari, Economy Minister Pier Carlo Padoan said Tuesday. "After
Sendai (Japan) 2016, in 2017 the financial G7 will take place in
Bari," he tweeted." Padoan said it would be a "unique
opportunity to discuss growth, employment and inequality". The
summit will be in the Puglia city on May 11-13, sources said.
The G7 finance summit features finance ministers and central
