Italian consumer and business
confidence dropped this month, Istat said on Tuesday.
The national statistics agency said its
consumer-confidence index fell to 110.2 points from 112.5 in May
- the third consecutive decrease.
The Istat Economic Sentiment Indicator (IESI) for
businesses fell for 101.2 points from 103.
The figures based on surveys conducted in the first half
of June and, therefore, do not take account of the effects of
the Brexit.
It is the first time that both indices have fallen at the
same time since the end of 2015.
