Vincenzo Boccia, the new president
of Italian industrial employers' confederation Confindustria,
said Thursday that Italy's return to growth after years of
recession was so modest it could not be considered a real
recovery. "Our economy has undoubtedly got going again, but it's
not a recovery," Boccia told his first Confindustria assembly as
president. "It's a modest, disappointing rise, which will not
take us back to pre-recession levels in a short period of time".
