Tax revenues in the first two months
of 2016 were 2% up at 62.464 billion euros, the economy ministry
said Tuesday. If the license fee for State broadcaster RAI had
been due for payment as usual in February - instead of being put
back to July this year - the tax take would have been 4.5%
higher, it said. The license fee deadline has been postponed
this year after the fee was included in electrical power bills
and lowered to 100 euros.
