Banca Popolare di Vicenza on
Tuesday filed a request to be listed on the Italian stock
exchange.
It also presented a prospectus for the cooperative bank's
flotation on the Milan bourse to Italy's stock market regulator
for approval.
The operation is subject to approval by the assembly of
shareholders on March 5.
BPV President Giovanni Zonin was placed under investigation
last year over alleged stock manipulation and obstruction of
regulatory authorities at the medium-sized Italian lender.
