Italian energy group Enel said Monday
it had achieved 75% 'emission free' production in 2023.
Last year, the electrical power group said, it achieved 75 per
cent 'emission free' production (i.e. renewables plus nuclear),
a 10 per cent increase over the previous year.
In particular, according to operational data released by the
group, coal production fell by 45.5%. In Italy, renewable
production increased by around 21% compared to 2022. While
electricity production from conventional sources fell by 32%.
