Four people have so far been placed
under investigation for the accidental death Friday of an
18-year-old student from Ceggia near Venice who was crushed by a
sheet of metal while doing work experience in a service-sector
company at nearby Noventa di Piave.
The head of the BC Service company, Luca Brugnerotto, 39, and a
company director are among those being probed for possible
culpable manslaughter in Giuliano De Seta's death.
The head of the Itis Leonardo Da Vinci school at Portogruaro,
where the young man was in his fifth year of an
electro-technical course, Anna Maria Zago, has also been placed
under investigation.
The teacher supervising the work experience project is also
being probed.
The student's tutor on the scheme has yet to be identified,
police said.
