A 46-year-old Italian man got life in
prison Tuesday for murdering his 41-year-old Czech partner and
abducting their daughters in February 2020.
Francesco Douglas Fadda stabbed Zdenka Krejcikova in a bar at
Sorso near Sassari in Sardinia on February 15 2020 and she died
in hospital soon after.
He then took the couple's daughters captive for some time.
Fadda told police he had not meant to kill Krejcikova and said
he was sorry for the femicide.
