Italian DJ, singer and musician
Francesco Facchinetti says mixed martial arts star Conor
McGregor knocked him out with a punch after they met for the
first time in Rome Saturday night.
"I've decided to report him because his fists are weapons,"
Facchinetti said Sunday.
"It was a miracle I wasn't badly hurt.
The musician's wife Wilma Faissol said on Instagram: "It was
supposed to be a nice evening, we'd been invited to a hotel to
meet him, he as in Italy to baptise his son, we had a good time,
we talked for hours, and then, out of nowhere, he punched
Francesco in the face.
"Luckily they were very close, so he couldn't get a lot into the
blow. He might have killed him. Francesco flew backwards and
fell onto a table.
"He rolled over, fell onto a chair and then to the ground".
Facchinetti was a fan of McGregor, a former Ultimate Fighting
Championship (UFC) featherweight and lightweight
double-champion, and also the former Cage Warriors featherweight
and lightweight champion.
"We welcomed him as a hero," he said, "but he's just a bully.
"I hope he pays, given that it isn't the first time".
