EU leaders are set top
reiterate the need for Italy's budget to respect the rules at a
summit on Thursday, diplomatic sources said Friday.
Five of six leaders were said to be ready to speak up on the
need to respect the Stability Pact when Premier Giuseppe Conte
presents the draft 2019 budget, the sources said.
They will also reportedly say they will be able to
autonomously deal with possible shocks in the event of a crisis,
the sources said.
One of the premiers who will speak out is Mark Rutte from
the Netherlands, they said.
