The parents of an 18-year-old girl
who refused chemotherapy and died have been placed under
investigation for aggravated culpable homicide, judicial sources
said Thursday. The parents of Eleonora Bottaro, who died of
leucemia in a Padua hospital last August, are accused of
persuading her that chemotherapy was too harmful and dangerous
to be accepted.
