Italy was the only eurozone
country in which labour costs dropped last year, Eurostat said
on Thursday. In 2016 average hourly labour costs were
estimated to be 29.80 euros in the eurozone, compared to 27.80
for Italy, which was down 0.8% on 28.10 euros in 2015.
