German Finance Minister
Wolfgang Schaeuble said Monday that Italy should continue with
the reforms started by outgoing Premier Matteo Renzi. "It's
urgent for a new government to be formed. I hope it will
continue with the reforms," he said as he entered a Eurogroup
meeting. "Italy must continue of the path started by Renzi three
years ago. Even if the Italian public did not accept this
Constitutional amendment, there's no reason to talk of a euro
crisis. Italy must continue on the road started by Renzi from a
political and economic viewpoint".
