The Imperial Forums in Rome,
built by emperors including Augustus, Trajan and Hadrian as well
as Julius Caesar, are set to open to daytime guided tours in the
wake of similar illuminated evening summertime tours introduced
by former mayor Ignazio Marino, sources said Wednesday.
The new tours will be inaugurated Thursday by Rome Mayor
Virginia Raggi, the city council's cultural heritage
superintendent, Claudio Parisi Presicce, and the city pointman
for cultural growth, Luca Bergamo.
