The cast of Italian
TV series Gomorra, based on the eponymous book about the Naples
Camorra mafia by Roberto Saviano, met with Giffoni Film
Festival-goers on Sunday for a Q&A session.
The actors said they don't want their young viewers to see
their characters as role models.
"We don't want to be symbols," said cast member Cristina
Donadio, who plays gang boss Scianel.
"I'm happy to take all the selfies you want, if you ask me
as the actress whose work you admire, not if you idealise the
role," she said.
