The search for the son of a
couple who was found murdered in their home yesterday was
ongoing Thursday.
Giuseppe Diana, 67, and wife Luciana Corgiolu, 62, were
found bludgeoned and stabbed to death at their home in the town
of Settimo San Pietro in Cagliari province on Wednesday.
Forensics said the couple likely died Monday morning.
Their son Igor Diana, 28, reportedly drove off in his
father's grey Ford SUV.
He may be armed, as police say they have seized two rifles
legally owned by this deceased father but not his handgun, which
was also registered.
