Italian tax police on Thursday
searched the offices of three directors of photography in State
broadcaster RAI under investigation for suspected bid-rigging in
the audio and lighting sector. The three are suspected of taking
bribes in the form of cash and trips to give work to businessman
David Biancifiori, the main subject of the probe, who was
arrested in December. Nine companies were searched in and around
Rome, in and around Milan, in L'Aquila and the provinces of
Brescia, Cremona and Rieti. Also under investigation are the
owners of eight service companies, police said.
