The London and Frankfurt stock
exchanges have agreed to merge, Bloomberg reported Wednesday.
Shareholders in the London Stock Exchange will have some
45.6% in the new group while those of Deutsche Borse will get
54.4%.
The new company will keep its locations in London and
Frankfurt and the president will be Donald Bryndon.
The deal also involves the Milan bourse company, Borsa
Italiana, which has been part of the London Stock Exchange Group
since 2007.
