I.active Biodynamic, the
innovative and sustainable cement developed by Italcementi for
use in the external façade of Palazzo Italia at Expo, is to be
used in the United States, Morocco, Egypt and the Far East,
Italcementi innovation director Enrico Borgarello said
Wednesday.
In Miami the company is already involved in construction of
"a building that will have major visibility in the city",
Borgarello said.
"The clients are private and all found thanks to Expo and
Palazzo Italia," he added.
"The Exposition allowed us to give expression to the duo
'cement and beauty', about which there had never been in-depth
discussion. For the first time we showed that cement can be both
high-performance and beautiful," Borgarello concluded.
