A Milan judge on Monday
acquitted former AC Milan striker Kakà on charges of tax
evasion.
Brazil star Kakà, 33, who now plays for Orlando SC in the
MLS, was accused of setting up a front company that allegedly
evaded two million euros of taxes on his image rights.
The ruling said "no offence was committed", citing the fact
that Kakà already resolved the tax litigation by paying the
Italian tax agency two million euros, in an action separate from
the criminal proceedings.
