A specialised two-year
Master's degree in "Fertility and Marital Sexuality" has been
organised by the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Studies
on Marriage and Family and the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery
at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart.
Organisers of the degree program said that it "responds to
the invitation by the Synod to offer educational paths that
nourish marital life".
The Synod of Bishops is an advisory body for the Pope.
The degree program is the first to teach natural methods of
contraception with both civil and canonical recognition.
