Visitors to the Giffoni Film
Festival in Italy had the chance to see a short preview on
Thursday evening of the upcoming sequel to Hotel Transylvania,
an animated fantasy film in which Count Dracula runs a hotel for
monsters.
In the six-minute preview of Hotel Transylvania 2, due out
in 3D later this year, Count Dracula has become a grandad, and
is now allowing both humans and monsters to stay at his hotel.
His new mission is to develop vampire abilities in his
grandson, for which he employs the help of friends such as Frank
Frankenstein.
Another character that makes an appearance in the sequel is
Dracula's father, Vlad, described as an "old school" vampire,
whose arrival makes life much more complicated.
