Italian researchers on Tuesday
presented a bionic penis that could "dominate" transplants of
the male sex organ.
Scientists from the Sant'Anna school of advanced studies in
Pisa illustrated the prototype of the artificial device at the
course 'High-tech business venturing" aimed at sourcing
investment for projects.
"Through the incorporation of a naturally activated
erection mechanism, this robotic prosthesis could be accepted by
patients without difficulty and its technology could prove
dominant in the field of penis transplants," they said.
