Finance police in the northern
Piedmont region are investigating a businessman who allegedly
failed to declare income of 4.4 million euros at his two real
estate firms, sources said Wednesday.
The suspect also allegedly failed to make VAT payments of
430,000 euros.
His two firms, one in the city of Cuneo and the other near
Turin, have business ties with other individuals who have been
reported for tax evasion, the sources said.
