Russian Prime Minister Dmitry
Medvedev has said that Russia could restrict access to its
airspace if the European Union imposes new sanctions as a result
of the crisis in Ukraine.
In an interview with Russian daily Vedomosti, Medvedev said
that EU sanctions threaten the global system of security.
The current ceasefire remains at risk after new bombings on
Sunday in the port city of Mariupol and near the airport in
Donetsk.
Pro-Russian separatists have announced the possibility of a
prisoner exchange with Kiev on Wednesday.
