British Prime Minister David
Cameron called the candidacy of Jean-Claude Juncker for European
Council President wrong for Europe, the BBC reported on
Thursday.
The British prime minister explained that European leaders
are thinking of choosing someone who will find it hard to be the
voice of reform and change for Europe.
Cameron has found himself increasingly isolated in his bid
to block the former Luxembourg prime minister's appointment, as
potential allies have changed tack to support the candidacy of
Luxembourg's longest serving premier, considered an EU insider,
said the BBC.
