Italy, Netherlands to 'share' UN seat

Each to sit on Security Council for one year

(ANSA) - Rome, June 30 - Italy and the Netherlands are to 'share' a non-permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council after several votes failed to give a majority to either for the two-year post Wednesday.
    The Italians and the Dutch have agreed to have the seat for one year each.
    Sweden was voted in ahead of the pair as the first European representative.
