Italy plans high speed wifi for tourism

In seaside resorts, world heritage sites, airports

(ANSA) - Rome, July 26 - The Italian industry and culture ministries have signed an agreement to set up a high-speed broadband WiFi network in tourist and cultural sites.
    The network will have a unique access system, based on the Public Digital Identity System (SPID).
    A series of experimental models will be set up by January in big seaside resorts, in the country's 51 UNESCO World Heritage sites, in 18 cities of culture, and in airports, ports and motorways.
