The Italian industry and culture
ministries have signed an agreement to set up a high-speed
broadband WiFi network in tourist and cultural sites.
The network will have a unique access system, based on the
Public Digital Identity System (SPID).
A series of experimental models will be set up by January
in big seaside resorts, in the country's 51 UNESCO World
Heritage sites, in 18 cities of culture, and in airports, ports
and motorways.
