'Everything OK' after nose bleed

(ANSA) - Rome, September 17 - Gina Lollobrigida was hospitalised after falling in her Rome home on Sunday, talk show Domenica In host Mara Venier announced in explaining her failure to turn up for an interview.
    Lollobrigida, 91, was taken to Sant'Eugenio Hospital bleeding from the nose, her aide Andrea Piazzolla told the programme. "Before leaving the house I saw blood coming from her nose and since I know she takes anticoagulants I decided to call her doctor," he said.
    "Now Gina is at the ER, the bleeding has been stopped and the situation is under control.
    "Everything's OK".
    La Lollo, as she is known, was one of the highest profile European actresses of the 1950s and early 1960s, a period in which she was an international sex symbol.
    Her films include Pane, Amore e Fantasia (1953), John Huston's Beat The Devil (1953) with Humphrey Bogart, La Donna Piu Bella del Mondo (1955), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1956) with Anthony Quinn, and Come September (1961) with Rock Hudson.
