14 nabbed, 32 probed for cybercrime

(ANSA) - Rome, July 2 - Italian police on Monday arrested 14 people and placed another 32 under investigation on suspicion of financial cybercrime across Italy including stealing IDs.
    Police said the alleged gang had thousands of victims across the country.
    They were charged with, among other things, fraud and illegal access to information systems, impersonating people, running scams and laundering money.
    Prosecutors said "online security is fundamental".
