Italian police on Monday arrested 14
people and placed another 32 under investigation on suspicion of
financial cybercrime across Italy including stealing IDs.
Police said the alleged gang had thousands of victims across
the country.
They were charged with, among other things, fraud and illegal
access to information systems, impersonating people, running
scams and laundering money.
Prosecutors said "online security is fundamental".
