22-yr-old 'kneecapped' former boss for not renewing contract

(ANSA) - Ventimiglia, December 19 - Italian police arrested two men on Friday over the shootings of councillor and worker in Liguria, authorities reported.
    Antonio Catalano, 22, and his uncle were arrested for allegedly shooting Francesco Cordì and Emilio Simbari in the legs in response to Cordì's failure to renew Catalano's work contract.
    Catalano told investigators he was responsible for the shootings, sources said.
    Police arrested Catalano at his parents' home in Calabria, while his uncle was arrested in Camporosso, Liguria.
