Italian police arrested
two men on Friday over the shootings of councillor and worker in
Liguria, authorities reported.
Antonio Catalano, 22, and his uncle were arrested for
allegedly shooting Francesco Cordì and Emilio Simbari in the
legs in response to Cordì's failure to renew Catalano's work
contract.
Catalano told investigators he was responsible for the
shootings, sources said.
Police arrested Catalano at his parents' home in Calabria,
while his uncle was arrested in Camporosso, Liguria.
